The basics of how Hire My Space works, for advertisers and creators.

What is Hire My Space?
Hire My Space is a marketplace that connects advertisers with X (Twitter) creators for sponsored posts. Advertisers bid, the bid appears on a public leaderboard, and creators earn for publishing the post.
Where can I see platform stats?
Visit the Stats page, a public dashboard showing total platform spend, top advertisers, niche adoption, and live campaign status. No login required.
What timezone are the campaign times displayed in?
All times are stored and processed in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). When you select a date or time for your campaign, it is converted to UTC before being saved. This ensures consistency across all users regardless of their location.
Is Hire My Space available in my region?
Yes. We treat every advertiser and creator the same everywhere right now, with one global set of pricing, niches and rules (aside from the handful of niches X's own policies restrict in specific regions). Region-specific pricing and rules are something we're planning to build out as the platform grows.
For Advertisers
How do I place a bid?
Click "Claim your rank" on the homepage. Pick your target audience (niche, follower range, region), enter your bid, agree to the terms, and pay. Your bid appears on the public leaderboard immediately.
What if there's no creator for my niche or audience size yet?
You can still pay and go live. When we don't have a creator to match, you'll see a "Skip creators, put my budget toward ranking instead" button. Clicking it switches your campaign to rank-only. A rank-only campaign doesn't serve any posts on X, and no creator does anything for it, but your whole budget goes straight to your leaderboard position with no platform fee taken out. It's a way to hold your rank and get visibility on the site right away, instead of being stuck with no way to pay until a matching creator joins. A rank-only campaign says so clearly on its own campaign page, and there's no creator list or post metrics shown, since neither applies.
How is pricing determined?
Use the Sponsorship Cost Estimator to estimate the cost of a sponsored post based on follower count and engagement rate. The estimator is public and requires no login.
Why does the platform charge a commission?
Our 5% platform commission covers the X API costs for reading and writing posts, fetching creator metrics (impressions, likes, reposts), and maintaining the matching infrastructure. X's API charges approximately $0.01 per tweet write and $0.005 per tweet read (see https://developer.x.com/#pricing for current pricing). Each campaign requires multiple API calls: reading the creator's profile, fetching their recent tweet metrics, posting the campaign tweet, and tracking post performance. The commission ensures we can sustainably provide these services without passing the full API cost to advertisers or creators.
How is the per-post price determined?
The per-post price is a fixed amount based on the creator's follower tier. It covers the X API costs for posting the tweet, reading creator metrics, and platform operations. The current X API pricing model charges per request: writing a post costs approximately $0.01, reading a post costs approximately $0.005, and fetching user metrics costs additional requests. For each campaign, we make approximately 10-15 API calls. Reference: https://developer.x.com/#pricing
How much does a side box ad cost?
Side box ads are priced by position: $1,000/month for the top row, $800/month for the middle row, and $500/month for the bottom row. Each placement runs for 30 days.
How long does a side box ad stay live?
Each side box ad placement runs for 30 days from the moment of payment confirmation. After 30 days, the ad is automatically removed and the slot becomes available for new advertisers.
What niches are restricted?
Alcohol is restricted in some regions (e.g. India, UAE, Saudi Arabia); gambling is restricted in some regions (e.g. India, UAE, Singapore); tobacco, weapons, and adult content are banned globally. Restricted niches are automatically hidden based on your target region.
Do I need an account? How do I see how my campaign is doing?
No account or login. When you pay, you enter your email and we send you a private link to your campaign page. It shows how many creators have delivered, each creator's post with its views, likes, reposts and replies (pulled from X when you open the page), what you paid, and any refund. You're also taken straight to that page after paying, and this device remembers it under My campaigns. Lost the link? Open My campaigns and enter your email or your payment confirmation ID. Keep the link private: anyone who has it can see the campaign's results.
What can I promote besides a post?
Pick any combination when you promote: a sponsored post, that post pinned to the top of the creator's profile, one or more lines in their bio (handy for more than one link), your image as their banner, and your logo as their profile picture. Presets cover the common ones (just a post, post + pin, full takeover). Every creator who takes your campaign does everything you picked, and the price per creator covers all of it. Profile placements stay up for the whole campaign window, so a longer campaign costs more, and each extra bio line adds a bit too, since it needs its own check against the creator's bio.
How do you know a creator changed their bio, banner or picture?
X doesn't let us edit a creator's profile for them, so they do it on X and we check. We read their profile back from X: the bio must contain your line, the pinned post must be your post, and the banner and picture must be different from what they were before the creator started. For banner and picture X only tells us that the image changed, not what it is, so it's worth looking at the creator's profile from the link on your campaign page. A creator is only counted as delivered, and only paid, once everything you picked is confirmed.
What if not every creator delivers?
You only pay for creators who deliver. When your campaign's end date passes and fewer creators delivered than you booked, the unused share of what you paid, including our fee on it, is queued as a refund and shown on your campaign page. Refunds go back to your original payment method.
What does Hire My Space charge advertisers?
A 10% fee on top of the creators' cost, shown on its own line at checkout, and the total is rounded up to the next whole dollar. Creators are charged a separate 20% fee on their own price.
How are creators chosen for my campaign?
You pick a follower range and how many creators you want, and your payment sets a budget per creator. Creators in your niche and range set their own price per post. Your campaign is shown to the lowest-priced creators first, up to the number you booked, so you usually spend less than your budget per post and the difference stays with the platform. Each creator is paid the price they asked, less a 20% platform fee, and only after your campaign ends and their post is still up and unedited.
What does Fulfilled mean for my campaign?
As soon as the number of creators you booked have all posted, your campaign is marked Fulfilled and no more creators can publish it. When the end date passes it is marked Expired. Neither status deletes anything: the campaign, its stats and its posts stay visible.
What happens when my campaign ends?
Nothing is deleted. When the end date passes, the campaign is marked as expired and stays on the site and in your campaign link with its impressions, clicks and the creators who posted it. Expired campaigns can no longer be posted by creators. There is no background process closing things out: creators publish by hand, and it's their responsibility to post while the campaign is running. If you'd like a campaign removed from the site once it has ended, contact support and we can delete it for you.
What happens if my campaign violates your policies?
If a campaign doesn't meet our content policy and it still goes live, we take it down and remove it from the leaderboard as soon as we catch it. This applies even if the advertiser was the one who posted content that shouldn't have been allowed. No refund is given in this case: it's the advertiser's responsibility to make sure a campaign follows our rules before submitting it.
For Creators
How do I become a creator?
Click "Earn as a creator" in the sidebar and sign in with X. First-time creators set a price per post and pick the niches they accept. The rest of the dashboard unlocks after that.
How is my price per post decided?
You choose it, up to a ceiling. We work out two numbers: the calculator price (your real followers × $0.005 × an engagement boost from how your recent posts perform) and the estimate for your follower tier. The lower of the two is your maximum. Accounts so small that the maximum would be a few cents get a $1.00 floor. The numbers update as your followers and engagement change.
Which campaigns am I shown, and what am I paid?
Each campaign has a budget per creator: what the advertiser paid, divided by the number of creators they booked. It is shown only to creators in its niche and follower range whose price is at or under that budget, and cheapest first. If an advertiser booked 4 creators and 100 creators ask $4, only those $4 creators see it, not the ones asking $5. If fewer creators are cheap enough, the next price level sees it too. When you publish you are paid your own price (less our 20% fee), not the budget. The difference stays with the platform, which is why a lower price wins more campaigns. We also always keep at least 20% of every slot, so the most a campaign can pay one creator is 80% of its budget per creator. You can change your price whenever you like.
What does Fulfilled mean?
The advertiser booked a set number of creators. As soon as that many have posted, the campaign is marked Fulfilled: it stays on your Campaigns list with the number of creators who posted, but nobody else can publish it. If you didn't post in time it moves to Closed. Campaigns that reach their end date are marked Expired. Nothing is ever deleted.
What if several creators press Publish at the same moment?
The advertiser paid for a fixed number of posts, so the slots are handed out strictly first come, first served. When you press Publish we lock the campaign, count the slots left and reserve one for you before anything is sent to X. If the last slot goes to someone else a moment earlier, you'll be told the campaign has already been published by the creators the advertiser paid for, and nothing is posted to your account. If a creator's post fails on X, their slot is released and opens up again.
Why is it limited to 1 post per day?
One post a day keeps your feed from filling with ads, lets us check every post by hand, and keeps advertisers' results clean. The limit is enforced when you publish: once you've posted, the Publish button is locked until 24 hours have passed.
Are my posts published automatically?
Not yet. Right now you publish by hand: each campaign appears under Campaigns with the exact text that will be posted, and nothing goes to your account until you approve it and press Publish. Nobody reviews campaigns in the background; reading and approving each post is your job as the creator. Auto-publish, where a campaign posts to your account on its own with no review step, is planned for later.
Do I have to use the Paid partnership label?
It is your choice in Settings. If you turn it on, each campaign is published with X's official "Paid partnership" label, switched on through the X API. Some brands prefer their post to look like a normal post, so you can also publish without it, and you'll still be matched with campaigns. Warning: X requires this label on posts that are part of a paid partnership (see X's Paid Partnerships Policy). Without it your post can be removed and your account restricted, and you are responsible for any disclosure the law requires where you live. Hire My Space isn't liable for that, so we recommend leaving the label on.
When do I get paid?
Only after the campaign ends, and only once payouts are open. Payouts need a payment gateway, which we are still connecting. When it is live you will register your payout details (you have to register before you can be paid), and then press Withdraw in the Payouts tab. Earnings from every ended campaign are paid together in one payout, and payouts start at $10.00: below that your balance just keeps building. Until payouts open, the Payouts tab tracks your estimated earnings so nothing is lost.
Do you take a cut of my earnings?
Yes: a 20% platform fee comes out of your price. If you price a post at $4.00 you receive $3.20. The dashboard always shows the amount after the fee, and there is no separate payout fee. Hire My Space also keeps the gap between what the advertiser paid for the slot and the price you asked, and always keeps at least 20% of every slot before the fee.
What if I delete or edit a post?
That post is not paid. When you claim a payout we check on X that your post is still up and has never been edited. If you delete it or change it at any point, even after it has been live for days, it doesn't count, and the campaign is marked as not payable for you. Please leave posts alone until the campaign ends.
Why don't I see any campaigns?
Campaigns are matched when you open your dashboard. You need a saved price and at least one niche, and a paid campaign in one of those niches must still be running, fit your follower range, have room left, and have a budget per creator at or above your price. If cheaper creators already fill it, it won't be shown to you. Lowering your price or adding a niche can change that.
Is my X login safe?
We only ask X for what the work needs: reading your profile (to check bio, banner, picture and pinned post changes, and to show them on your settings page) and posting when you press Publish. Your X access is stored encrypted, it is only used while you are logged in (to publish, to check your profile and posts, and to refresh your follower count once a day at most), and it is erased from our database when you log out. We never post without your click, and we never change your profile: you do that yourself.
What are profile placements and how do I earn from them?
Besides a post, advertisers can book your pinned post, a line in your bio, your banner and your profile picture. In Settings you switch each one on and set your price per day (there's a ceiling based on your audience). A campaign that needs a bundle, say post + pin + banner, is offered only to creators who have switched on all of it, and pays your prices for the campaign's length, less our 20% fee. Profile placements are worth more the longer the campaign runs. You make the changes on X yourself: press Start (we save how your profile looks), make the changes, then press Verify and publish. The pin comes after the post exists: pin it, then press Check my profile. You are paid once everything is confirmed and the campaign has ended. Keep everything in place until then.
Do sidebar ads earn creators money?
No. Sidebar placements are shown on the site, not posted by creators. Only campaigns you publish on your own X account earn a payout.
How do I log out or delete my account?
Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar (on a phone, use Log out at the top of the dashboard) and choose Log out. To remove your account, go to Settings and choose Delete account. That erases your creator profile and settings.
